Prof. Sasson Bar Yosef
Sasson Bar-Yosef is a Professor of Accounting and Finance, and holds the Julius Feinstein Chair in Accounting (emeritus) at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem, Israel.
Sasson has published numerous papers in leading journals such as the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Journal of banking and Finance, Review of Economics and Statistics, European Economic Review, The Journal of Accounting, Review of Accounting Studies, European Accounting Review and others. He is the joint guest editor of the special issue in the European Accounting Review: Accounting and Reporting in Family Firms.
He was a professor at Bocconi University and Visiting professor at major US schools such as UC Berkeley, Northwestern University, NYU, University of Texas – Austin, and Rutgers University.
Professor Bar-Yosef's current research concentrates on Information Economics of Family Business, where he contributes to the better understanding of the special attributes of this large economic sector world-wide.
